AIR

Pittsburgh International Airport is 25 minutes from the city centre. There are flights to most major cities in North America with half North America's population within a 90 minute flight.


The Port Authority 28x Airport Flyer bus runs between the airport and the city centre every 20 minutes. The bus fare is $2.60.

BUS & COACH

Greyhound (tel (412) 392 6526) buses connect Pittsburgh with Baltimore, Cleveland, Columbus, Eire, New York, Philadelphia and Washington DC. Coaches stop at the Pittsburgh Intermodal Station (55 11th Street, Pittsburgh; bus 6B, 6C, 6D, 86A, 86B, 91A (stop: Penn Avenue at 11th Street)).

 

Megabus goes to State College, PA and New York City. Megabus coaches depart from under the David L Lawrence Convention Center (1000 Fort Duquesne Boulevard, Pittsburgh; bus 6B, 6C, 6D, 11E, 86A, 86B, 91A (stop: Penn Avenue at 10th FS)).

 

Great Wall Bus also operate services to New York City with coaches departing from 116 Meyran Avenue, Pittsburgh (bus 54C, 71A, 71C, 71D, 74D, 75, 77U, 500, EBO (stop: Fifth Avenue at Meyran) in Oakland near the University of Pittsburgh.

TRAIN

Amtrak’s Pennsylvanian service connects Pittsburgh with New York City and the Capitol Limited stops in Pittsburgh en route between Chicago and Washington DC. The station is at 1100 Liberty Avenue in the city centre.
