Seaside
This small seaside resort is a popular spot for backpackers as it is one of the few towns on this part of the Oregon coast to have a hostel. Seaside makes a good base for visiting Astoria and Cannon Beach, which are both easily accessible by bus.
Coming & Going
Oregon Coachways (tel (541) 484 4100) operate a daily bus service between Astoria and Portland that stops in Seaside.
Local Transport
Sunset Empire Transportation (website www.ridethebus.org) operate local buses in Clapsop County with services to Astoria, Warrenton, Seaside and Cannon Beach. A one-way fare within Seaside is $1.25.
