Coming & Going

Greyhound buses stop at the Lava Lanes Bowling Center at 1555 Forbes Road. Central Oregon Breeze (website www.cobreeze.com) buses run between Bend and Portland with a stop at Portland Airport.

Local Transport

The Bend Area Transit System (tel (541) 322 5870; website www.ci.bend.or.us/bend_area_transit/) runs Bend's local bus service. A one-way fare is $1 and a one-day pass costs $2.

High Desert Museum

The High Desert Museum has exhibits about the art, culture and wildlife of Oregon's high desert. The museum is noted for its outdoor exhibits that include a recreated 1860s town.
